Terms of Use – App Updater

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the App Updater Android application ("the App", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing or using the App, or by buying a premium plan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

App Updater helps you manage the apps on your Android device. It can check installed apps for available updates, uninstall apps (one at a time or in batches), show app usage and mobile/Wi-Fi data usage, show battery information, and show the permissions that installed apps use.

The App is free to use with ads. An optional premium plan removes ads and unlocks extra features.

2. Premium Plans and Purchases

Premium gives you:

  • An ad-free experience
  • Unlimited batch uninstall (the free version uninstalls a limited number of apps at a time)

Premium is offered as:

  • Weekly, Monthly and Yearly subscriptions: billed again at the end of each period until you cancel
  • Lifetime: a one-time payment that does not renew

All payments are processed by Google Play Billing and charged to your Google Play account. We never receive or store your card or payment details.

3. Free Trials

  • Some plans may include a free trial. The trial length is shown on the purchase screen before you subscribe.
  • If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically to a paid subscription. You are then charged the price shown.
  • Each Google Play account can use a free trial only once, as determined by Google Play.

4. Automatic Renewal

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and period shown at purchase until you cancel.
  • Your Google Play account is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • If a payment fails, Google Play may give you a grace period. If it still cannot be collected, premium access may be paused or ended.

5. Managing or Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime in the Google Play Store:
Google Play › Profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › App Updater › Cancel subscription

  • Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
  • After you cancel, premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Uninstalling the App does not cancel your subscription.

6. Refunds

Purchases are handled by Google Play, so refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. You can request a refund through Google Play. We cannot issue refunds directly. Partial periods are not refunded after you cancel, except where the law requires it.

7. Lifetime Purchase

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment linked to the Google Play account used to buy it. You can restore it on another device signed in to the same account. It cannot be transferred to another account. Refunds are available only as described in Section 6.

8. Prices

Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen before you confirm. Prices may change. Google Play will tell you in advance if a subscription price changes, and it may ask for your consent where required.

9. Advertising

The free version shows ads served by third-party networks such as Google AdMob. These ads are covered by the providers' own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for websites they link to.

10. Using the App Responsibly

  • Update checks come from the information available on Google Play. Because store data can change, we cannot guarantee that every available update is detected or that every result is complete.
  • Uninstalling apps is always confirmed by you through Android. You are responsible for which apps you remove. Data deleted with an app may be lost permanently.
  • Usage, data and battery figures come from Android system data and are estimates. They may differ from what your carrier or device manufacturer reports.
  • Some features need permissions you choose to grant, such as Usage Access. If you deny them, those features may not work.

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or misuse the App, and not to bypass its purchase system.

11. Data and Privacy

How we handle information is explained in our Privacy Policy. App usage, data usage and battery information are processed on your device.

12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App. This includes data loss, uninstalled apps, or missed updates.

13. Google Play Policies

All purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. If these Terms conflict with Google Play's billing terms, Google Play's terms apply to the payment.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
